Call for Makers 2014
Calling all makers!
The Toronto Mini Maker Faire is back and is seeking submissions from all corners of the makerdom to help us create the best faire yet!
Last year we had over 4,000 people attend and we’re looking to double that this year at our new home thanks to our venue sponsor: the Toronto Reference Library. Join us for two days of discovery, experimentation, and innovation on November 22-23, 2014.
We’re looking for submissions from individuals or organizations focused on: robotics, woodworking, wearables, jewelry, 3D printing, electronics, food hacking, kinetic art, drones and so much more! Still need some inspiration before submitting? Check out some of last year’s makers!
The deadline to apply is September 21st!
What is the Maker Faire? Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.
