Call For Outdoor and Evening Spectacles

Posted on May 25, 2018 Under news

This year Maker Festival 2018 is extending outdoor programming throughout the day and into the evening. We are looking to fill the street outside the Toronto Reference Library with all kinds of amazing performances, interactions, shows, installations and excitement!

The event will be held at the Toronto Reference Library, located one block north of Young and Bloor. There will be a stage area for performances as well as an open area for installations. Performances can either take the stage, be an installation or wander the crowd during the daytime or evening events.

We are looking for:
> Daytime performances 11am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday
> Evening performances (19+) after 8pm – 10pm Saturday evening only

Spectacle projects could be:
Aerial performances, juggling, dancing, magic, comedy, dance, fire, installation, light up sculptures, wearable technology, fashion, music, and anything else you’d like to propose.

Help us bring even more magic and wonder to Maker Festival!

Pitch your Spectacle ideas by filling out the form below. Thanks!   ** Deadline for proposals is Friday June 8, 2018. **
