Royal Ontario Museum – #ChihulyTO Inspiration

“I WANT PEOPLE TO BE OVERWHELMED WITH LIGHT AND COLOR IN A WAY THAT THEY’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED.”
– DALE CHIHULY

Join us to co-create a glowing, brilliant, public sculpture like you’ve never seen before!

Our inspiration is the work of Dale Chihuly, considered to be one of the world’s foremost artists working in glass today. Like Chihuly, we’re exploring the power of colour as we build a six-foot-tall artwork that catches the light and reflects it back to you in thousands of sparkling impressions.

Select your colours and cut, fold, curl, spiral and loop to make your own unique shape. Add it to the sculpture, tweet, and the sculpture will change colour. Then take a photo of your creation and send your friends a remarkable moment of vibrant colour.
