Tick Tock Tom – Scrap Metal Sculptures

There’s so much beauty to be found inside of discarded technology, broken machines, and found objects, so I make sculptures out of it.
Sometimes a piece starts out as an idea. Sometimes an idea comes from a part. My static sculptures focus on character and pose. A little light wired up in their eyes help give the illusion of life.
Occasionally a sculpture comes to life that could use mechanical motion. Human physiology has been mimicked in many of my machines. Mechanical Lungs, and Heart are part of my current collection.
I want to bring it all to the Maker Festival Toronto.
