Maker Faire Launch Party

We’re about to unleash the biggest Maker Faire the city of Toronto has ever seen in less than two weeks time (Nov 22 & 23), and there is no way our mission will be possible without a squadron of kick-butt volunteers to make all the essential stuff happen!

We’re planning to herd over eight thousand people through the maker-menagerie that will be the Toronto Reference Library while still giving them an awesomely interactive good time, and there is a diversity of volunteer positions up for grabs to help make it all happen.

Volunteers can assist kids making boats, robots and rockets – and you don’t even need to know how just yet! Volunteers can help us manage the flow of eager guests, direct enthusiastic families, and keep the tinkering magic alive!

What’s in it for Volunteers?

– A limited edition Maker Faire t-shirt (in men’s and women’s sizes)!
– Free food and drink during the Faire (yum)
– An invitation to our behind-the-scenes ‘Meet the Maker’ event!
– A generally awesome time and meet many like-minded folks!
– We may or may not have volunteer party thank you plans (shhhh!)
