Are you looking for awesome practical volunteer experience? Want to work on a large scale event as part of a kick-butt team? Looking to upgrade your skills? Interested in hanging out with fellow capable, caring and creative humans who’s team meetings almost always involve a buffet of snacks? We’re looking for fellow co-organizers to join our team!
Here is a list of some of the gaps we’re hoping to fill this year – but if you can think of something else we might need, or have skills and experiences that fill different kind of gap, we’re open to possibilities!
Curate workshop program, manage our ticketed/scheduled workshops, coordinate teachers & facilitate at the event.
Curate and outreach to prospective speakers, manage scheduling / promotion, coordinate with venue & facilitate at the event.
Curate and manage exhibitors, coordinate logistics & manage the outdoor area at the event.
Satellite Events Coordinator x 2
Outreach and curate satellite events with community partners, produce ad promote map and online content (with our designer), facilitate satellite events during the Festival.
Makers and Games Coordinator
Curate and manage Makers and Games exhibitors, outreach to community partners & facilitate at the Festival.
Visual Storyteller / Copy writer
Capture still and moving imagery, edit photos/video content, conduct interviews, write blog posts & tell stories.
We’re also looking for help with sponsorship hustling & organizational development, creative strategy, partnerships, merchandising, technical support, event logistics & management, volunteer coordination.
