Paint & Pixels – Make a Stop Motion Movie

Maker Festival Guests will actively participate in making a stop motion animation movie! Guests will position objects, create the plot, narrate the story, add in objects of their own and keep clicking the camera! All will be captured as one continuous movie for the Maker Festival.

We want to see if we can break the world record for the longest stop motion movie made (currently Coraline at 1hr40min). We will use a stop motion app to create, record the movie and guests will be asked to “take over” filming by moving the objects, creating scene/storylines and capturing the images. We will have other props, objects and clay that they can introduce into the set. We will compile all three movies and post them at the end of the festival. Anyone who participated will get their name listed in the “credits”.
