Starting off with maquettes to master newfound folding and gluing techniques, in the workshop students go from the basic instructions to creating illustrated creations! Learn four introductory pop-up book techniques to enter into the world of transforming books. The mechanics of pop up books offer endless variations and possibilities. Become acquainted with the joys of letterpress printing, a practice developed over 400 years ago! This workshop is a brief introduction to the use of a letterpress to make simple and beautiful cards.
