In this session, vats of carrageenan, alum, ox-gall and inks will be pre-mixed for water-based marbling. Guidance will be provided by our expert instructor as well as references to design patterns. A range of papers will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring different kinds of paper to experiment with as well as cloth and wood. This style of workshop is great for those that would like to freely explore patterns in marbling such as: stone marble, nonpareil, bouquet, Spanish wave and more!

Maximum paper/cloth and wood size: 20 x 28″
Price includes materials (carrageenan, alum, inks, paper).
Participants should bring any particular paper and other materials they wish to try themselves.
Previous marbling experience preferred.
