STEAMLabs Maker Space

STEAMLabs is Toronto’s newest 3000 square foot maker space located in downtown Toronto at Queen & Spadina. Housed on the ground floor of the new Centre for Social Innovation building, STEAMLabs offers memberships, boot camps, workshops, fabrication services, and programs for kids.

The lab boasts a fully equipped woodshop, a fleet of twelve 3D printers, a 4x8foot CNC milling machine, a 150 watt 3x4foot bed laser cutter, and more. Co-founders Andy Forest & Marianne Mader opened STEAMLabs to provide a space for people, young, old, experienced, or beginners, to tinker with technologies, follow their interests and exercise their creative agency.

This year STEAMLabs will be facilitating a boat-making drop in workshop for $5 where makers young and old can use our dremel motosaws to build their own mini boat, and sail it on the indoor pond!
