Colin Daly – 3D Printing Projects

I’m Colin Daly, and I’m a student from Cathedral High School in Hamilton, Ontario. I’m also a maker, and have spent a ridiculous amount of time tinkering with 3D printers.

At my table, I will be displaying some of my coolest 3D printing projects and trinkets. For example, I will be showcasing 3D-printed miniature truck shells for Our Home and Miniature Land, a company building scale models of Canadian cities (http://miniatureland.ca/).

Other interesting projects include a 3D printer that I designed and built from scratch, many interesting 3D printed parts, and a robotic hand that is able to mimic the movements of a human hand using a hand-tracking sensor.

At my table, spectators will be able to interact with 3D printed objects and trinkets. Spectators can also control a robotic arm using a hand-tracking sensor.
